Responsible Sourcing

Excellent Facets is committed to ethical sourcing of natural mêlée diamonds, building long-term relationships with suppliers and customers based on transparency and trust. We purchase rough diamonds from about 20 vetted mines via tender, all checked for human rights compliance. These include prominent vetted mines like Ekati and Diavik. Our diamonds are polished in socially compliant Indian facilities, with traceability ensured by iTraceiT, a tamper-proof tracking system. We source only from countries participating in the Kimberley Process and adhering to World Diamond Council standards, avoiding those listed by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

We align with respected industry bodies like the Responsible Jewellery Committee (RJC), the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC), and the UN Global Compact (UNGC).
